Desi Threading & More is everything I could have ever hoped for, and then some! Manisha is seriously one of the nicest, sweetest ladies I have ever met. And boy is she skilled with that thread!
I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for a few years now (once you have a bad waxing experience, it's hard to go back), and I LOVE it. I was very loyal to my old place in Davis (EZ Eyebrow, also recommended!), but I couldn't be more happy seeing Manisha now. She always asks you what you want done, and if you're not sure, ask for her chart with all the possible eyebrow shapes (it's sooo much easier than trying to describe it to her). But usually, I just trust her to do what she thinks looks best-- she's the pro, after all!
Just an FYI, Manisha will be temporarily closing her business as of December 31 and moving to a new location at Alhambra and J. She will reopen on February 11. A little sad that I won't be able to walk to Desi any more, but I know it will be worth the drive!
Seriously, give it a try, you won't regret it!!

After Shannon left Salon San Severo on P Street, I had no idea where I would go. She was the only one I trusted with my eyebrows. But now I have Manisha! She did a fabulous job threading and the facial she gave me left my skin smooth and clean.

OMG! How did I forget to review this place a million years ago! This place rocks! Manisha is a sweetheart, always remembers me and what I want. I get my eyebrows and upper lip done here, 15 for both! Ive had two other ladies do my eyebrows and they are also amazing! I will be going here for as long as I am in Sacramento!

Let me begin by saying that Manisha is AMAZING!!! She has been threaded my eyebrows for almost a year now and every time I go I love the results. Manisha was my first experience with eyebrow threading and I have been extremely happy with the results. Not only did it give me shape that I lacked before, but it also was painless. She is a true threading expert. She is able to get the perfect eyebrow shape for a person's face. Not only is she gifted at what she does, she is also extremely warm and welcoming and puts you at ease. Ever since my first experience I have been hooked and now I won't let anyone else touch my eyebrows. I would recommend her to anyone interested in eyebrow threading. She is the best!!!

I LOOOOOVE having my eyebrows threaded by Manisha. They look better than I could have ever imagined. Threading is affordable, efficient, and totally pain-free. I have been Manisha's client for just under two years and feel I have been her friend just as long. Manisha is personable, yet professional. She remembers the original eyebrow shape I requested and even personal information I have shared over the years. I can't say the same for other beauty professionals I have seen. I will always be Manisha's devoted client. I greatly recommend Manisha for your eyebrows or, any other beauty or facial needs you may have.
